Welcome from the PSSAC Chair                                      

Dear MSU Staff:

Greetings from the Professional and Support Staff Advisory Council. As the new academic year gets underway I would like to take this opportunity to highlight some of the past few years’ accomplishments.

Bringing the University together through employee relations opportunities has created a closer knit working environment. Employee development such as Stress Management and Time Management has also been a way to help with the many changing environments that we as staff are faced with. In addition to the workshops and opportunities available to staff we also want to keep our traditions alive. Some of these traditions include showing our pride with various apparel sales. The annual homecoming door contest is another way for us to show our school spirit and sense of community. Another annual event that is administered by PSSAC is Staff Appreciation Day. This event takes a lot of planning and coordination and every year the staff steps up contributes a lot of talent and time to make this such a success.

The year ahead will be our 18th as the Voice of the MSU Staff. Our mission this year is to enhance our communication with staff. By improving our communication we can all work for the betterment of our University. We encourage everyone to know who your Staff Council representative is and to work through them to bring concerns and recommendations forward for discussion.
