  Employee Benefits/Compensation Committee  

The Benefits Committee addresses issues and concerns that pertain to staff benefits such as health insurance, life insurance, and medical and personal leave.

  Employee Development Committee  

The Employee Development Committee develops programs or services that will enhance the skills of MSU staff.  Some of the projects of this committee are information seminars and the further development of an endowment fund for recognition and future training of MSU staff.

Employee Relations Committee  

The Employee Relations Committee's goal is to create an atmosphere of community among MSU staff. In 2000 this committee began networking sessions to give MSU staff with like positions the opportunity to meet and build a network of colleagues across campus. The Employee Relations Committee also coordinates Staff Appreciation Day and the Zacharias Distinguished Staff Awards.

  Publicity Committee  

The Publicity Committee is primarily responsible for advertising sponsored events of Staff Council and encouraging the staff to participate in University activities. Along with routine activities such as the PSSAC web page, PSSAC Listserve, and brochure, the Publicity Committee also holds a Fall Hot Dawg / T-Shirt sale on the Drill Field for staff.
